Jenai Fitzpatrick, MS Ed Dream Director

Jenai Fitzpatrick, MS Ed Dream Director I am a Dream Director, School Psychologist and Executive Functioning Coach. Studies have proven that children who move learn best!

A little about me…
I am an Executive Functioning Coach, Advocate and NYS Certified School Psychologist. A majority of my professional experience is with children ages 5-21 who have been diagnosed as being on the Autism spectrum, ADD/ADHD, and learning disabled. As a school psychologist my goal was to give students the opportunity to feel successful every day they walk into school. Children diagnos

ed with ASD, ADHD/ADD and LD must have their metacognition needs prioritized. My specialty has been helping students with organization, time management skills, test preparation/study skills and implementing effective habits. I have completed psychological evaluations, developed IEP’s and conducted both Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). In individual and group settings, I have experience with social skills training and counseling where we focused on self-advocacy, daily living skills, and coping strategies to self-regulate emotions and behavior. I hold a certification as a Children’s Fitness Specialist, Holistic Nutritionist and practice as a Competitive Gymnastics Coach. Movement and exercise is a passion of mine and I believe strongly in the mind/body connection. Nutrition must be considered for any individuals overall health. Due to severe food intolerances in my family, we are gluten free, dairy free, and choose to eat organic when possible. A balanced diet can require extra work but we have made it a priority. There is a starting point for everyone to live a healthier lifestyle. Although not a remedy for everything, it can and should be part of the conversation. These are all pieces of the puzzle to finding our best selves, both children and adults alike!
