Interesting...people do stereotype toys that they think the child would like to play with. Left to their own this age child will play with most anything. Manipulative toys are most sought after.

Toolkit tip #8 - One of our favorite replacements for food rewards is phsycial activity. Kids love to move. Reward kids with extra recess, a dance party, or trip to a new park or playground.
