Weather can make Shortwave Broadcasting a challenge.
Last night during the severe rainstorms that went through Bethel, a stub-line support cable deflected enough to come into proximity with the vertical transmission line during broadcast and burnt it off.
After repairing that, and while we were preparing to go on the air, we lost grid-power to the transmitting site due to a broken transmission line.
The energy company had to dispatch a crew to repair their lines. We finally went on the air two hours behind schedule.

Broadcast Note:The engineers have decided to swap out our original tube and to install the secondary one. The tube change is complete but there are start-up tests that need to be confirmed before going on the air. We should be on later when those tests are completed. Thank you for understanding.

Signal strength reports from the Broadcast today. The first one is from Cypress, Greece and the second one is from Qatar (at the end of the Broadcast). Praise Yahweh, His message is getting out there!

Notice: Central Pennsylvania experienced very high winds last night and knocked down and broke multiple wires in the area. It looks like we will be off the air today.

Good day from Bethel. The engineer has arrived from Switzerland to install the Digital Broadcast upgrade to the Ampegon Transmitter. Because of this, our regular broadcast schedule will be disrupted.

We had a productive week of Broadcast, Praise Yahweh! We continue to refine the audio signal, modulation settings and the efficiency relationships.
We hope that you continue to monitor the signal and send us your reports.

Just a quick report before Sabbath-The engineer did almost 5 hours of antenna broadcast today. During the broadcast he was adjusting levels and modulation levels.

We have already received reception reports from east Germany, Iceland, Portugal, and Kuwait. On the back-lobe We had reception reports from Greensboro North Carolina, Memphis Tennessee, Oklahoma City and Nashville.

We have signed the site acceptance paperwork and will begin broadcasting Monday of next week, Yahweh willing at 1pm on 9.275.
