Make a suncatcher in this upcoming class with Tanya Johanson (Greenwood Glass) and learn the fundamentals of stained glass construction including glass cutting skills, foiling and soldering. Students will come away from this class with a beautiful self made piece, their own kit of glass cutting tools, an assortment of beginner friendly patterns, and the basic knowledge to explore stained glass at home!

The next Fourth Friday family craft night happened to land on the night before Halloween so we decided to take things up a notch!

Join us for a bowl of chili, live music, pumpkin decorating contest (!!) and c***r pressing from 3-6:30 on the 30th! Costumes highly encouraged 🎃

We will be wrapping up just in time to head on over to The Gem for Rocky Horror Picture Show and costume parade! BAAM-Bethel Area Arts & Music

TOMORROW! Join the next Community Mending and Upcycle Group event at the Makerspace tomorrow evening from 5-6:30 pm. Drop in anytime! The feature focus tomorrow is zippers, but you are welcome to bring anything you are hoping to repair or recycle.

We are so close to meeting the halfway mark on our start up fundraising drive! Your donation will help us continue to grow our programming options, launch our free tool library, and finish our build out.

We're so grateful for all of the support people have shown through their class and event attendance, and all of the wonderful connections we've made with makers of all kinds!

This Friday we will be sculpting, painting, and swimming around with these super cute JELLYFISH windsocks made out of recycled materials!! Join us anytime from 2-7 pm. All ages are welcome- children must be accompanied by an adult. We will be using tempera and acrylic paints so dress accordingly

This past Sunday they hosted a creative and joyful party for a local family at the makerspace - giant bubbles, slime and fashion design were all on the menu and we heard nothing but raving reviews 🥳

And one more big thank you to the Maine Mineral & Gem Museum for donating the local stones for ring making! We loved having the opportunity to work with some beautiful pieces of local history.
