A Pennsylvania man has been arrested after bringing a samurai sword to a church in PA. The incident occurred on Sunday (Aug. 30) just before 11 AM.

While the perpetrator was OUTSIDE the building, the church went into lockdown - because they had someone keeping an eye on the parking lot. Remember the consecutive rings of security. If you can keep them outside, you keep everyone inside safe.

60 years ago today was what started school shooting in the modern times. The University of Texas clock tower shooting killed 14 and wounded 31. The very first ever school shooting on US soil actually occurred on July 26th 1764. So you can see school shootings have been around a while. This past Sunday, there was a woman ambushed by an armed ex-partner as she walked into a Sunday church service. The ex probably knew just where she parked the car because we are creatures of habit, and we often park in the same area every week. The ex had a restraining order, but we all know that’s just a piece of paper.

It is said that 75% of incidents that occur inside an organization start in the parking lots.
