What if your everyday purchases could help support our schools?

The Bethany Public Schools Foundation has partnered with Give Generously to make it easy to support our students through everyday purchases. Simply sign up and your purchases will be rounded up to the next dollar, with the extra change going toward programs across our district.

"I've been doing this for a couple of months now and it's been great! If everyone who loves Bethany signs up, these small amounts will add up fast and make a huge difference for our kids. You can even choose the programs you're most passionate about. Please share with anyone who loves Bethany!”- Dr. Reuben Bellows

It may only be a few cents at a time, but imagine what we could do if we all chipped in!

Beginning in fall 2027, up to five Bethany High School students each year will be eligible for Oklahoma City University’s scholarship program, helping make college a little more affordable. 💜
We’re excited to see BHS students included in this opportunity!

A scholarship at Oklahoma City University aimed at helping local teens afford college has now been extended to students at Bethany High School.

The university’s OKCPS Scholarship was introduced last year with the goal of providing significant discounts on tuition to students from Oklahoma City Public Schools sites.

The scholarship is available for up to five students annually from Bethany High School beginning in the fall 2027 semester. It applies to those majoring in Arts & Sciences, Business or Nursing. Students who receive the scholarship are also eligible for an additional academic success award that would kick in during their sophomore year.

Bethany Mayor Amanda Sandoval stopped by Earl Harris to talk with our 4th and 5th graders about a new writing contest for local students. She also opened the floor for a casual Q&A and judging by the number of hands in the air, our students had plenty to ask!

Students will answer the question, “If you were the Mayor of Bethany, what would you do to make the city a better place and why?” Prizes sponsored by First Bethany Bank and Trust will be awarded to winning students, their teachers AND their schools!

Thank you, Mayor Sandoval, for stopping by! Entries are due Friday, October 23.

Share on your feed and to your stories!!

Tomorrow is a BIG one. 💜

It’s Game Day, Spirit Day and our LAST DAY to show T-Mobile just how badly Bethany wants that $1 MILLION Friday Night 5G Lights grant!

So tomorrow, wear the purple. Wear the jersey. Wear the cheer uniform. Whatever Broncho gear you’ve got, WEAR IT. Then take a picture and post it!

Just make sure you include all four:
High Schooll
-Mobile

And this isn’t just for students and staff! Parents, alumni, local businesses, community members…jump in! Post your own pictures and share the Bethany posts you see throughout the day.

Let’s make T-Mobile see a whole lot of PURPLE tomorrow. 💜

One more big push, Bronchos. LET’S DO THIS!

A major award for two majorly deserving educators!

Congratulations to Coach Erin Wright and former BPS coach Eric Sailer on being named Coordinators of the Year by Healthy Schools Oklahoma!

With 83 schools participating statewide, Coach Wright and Coach Sailer were recognized for finding fun and creative ways to teach students about physical activity, nutrition, tobacco-use prevention, injury prevention, and oral health.

We’re proud of the work they’ve done to help our students build healthy habits that can last a lifetime.
Congratulations, Coach Wright and Coach Sailer!
