Lighthouse Child Development Fostering holistic child growth and development through involvement, creativity & tailored support. She is a hands on worker who represents our facility well.

Lighthouse Child Development Center Director, Jocelyn Jimerson has over 10 years of childcare experience. She has been in various roles such as, administrative assistant, Youth Supervisor and Advance Lead PreK4 teacher in a Private christain school. She is such a strong presence in our center, and an incredible asset to our teachers and students. Mrs. Jocelyn is very passionate not only about our

children, but also their families.Jocelyn has a Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor of Business Administration. She is serious about partnering with our teachers to help in any way needed, and to assist them in becoming the best of the best. The Teaching Staff at Lighthouse has vast Experience and Education in Child Development. Each employee undergoes a State and Federal Background Check and Child Abuse and Neglect Investigation, Employees are Trained in CPR and have a Food Handlers Certification. Teachers are Required to have Health and Safety training and a Minimum of 12 Hours of Ongoing Education in Child Development per Year. Classrooms at Lighthouse are Bright and Colorful, Developmentally Age Appropriate and Encourage Learning and Exploring of the Child's World at their own pace and in their own way. We use Abeka Curriculum. Safety is First at Lighthouse, and equipment,toys and materials meet all Safety Requirements. Fenced Outdoor Play Area for Toddlers and Preschoolers Provides Opportunity for Development of Fine and Gross Motor Skills. Lighthouse provides a Well Balanced, Nutritious and Age Appropriate Breakfast and Lunch . Nutritious Afternoon Snack is served daily. Lighthouse Strives to Include the Parents in the Learning Experience of their child. Many Opportunities are Available to Parents for their participation in The Classroom, Field Trips and The Centers Special Events.
