It is with a heavy heart that we share with you the untimely passing of Donnell (Don) Erickson AKA Snowtrac Nome.

My last memory of him is remembering me, a total random stranger calling him out of the blue from Iowa, asking questions about Snowtracs and how generous he was with his time and knowledge. In fact, he is saved in my contacts under "Don Nome, AK SnowTrac."

As Squirrel put it so eloquently in his post: "Don was an expert in anything Snow. Expert snow trac mentor. I've coordinated shipping large snow cats to nome for don. This is a big loss for the snow cat community."

May you Rest in Peace 🙏🏼

May all your loved ones be granted solace!

You may recognize Joe Skier ⛷️, the iconic Powderhorn Statue and Landmark on Rt 2 in Bessemer, MI, that lets us Clowderians know that we reached home every year! Aka Clowder Nirvana. 🙏🏼

The items will be shipped directly to you after they are printed.
Please note that the shop will only be live til the end of February.

The 2025 Clowder has come to a close! Grateful to every single one of you wonderful humans, including a certain Red 🐿 that decided to get a headache this year but was among us in spirit and through the magic of the "internets"! We hope that y'all made it back home. Eternally indebted to and all their staff for their hospitality as well as the great folks Black River Lodge/North Ironwood Acres.
Big thanks to and the Steiger family.
We can't wait to see you all for 2026 edition, but until then, keep snowcating and cheers to y'all!

The closing ceremony of the 10th Anniversary of the was one for the history books. We will post further on it later.

Nothing quite compares to the beauty of the night sky of these northern woods! We are in awe! And we wanted to leave y'all with that visual sentiment.
