Showing Our Panther Pride!

Our scholars learned all about one of our core values: Pride! We discussed positive and negative examples of showing pride, then scholars expressed their creativity by designing their own Panther paws during counseling! We also explored ways to continue practicing pride throughout the school year and carry these important skills into our homes and communities. Let’s keep showing our Panther Pride everywhere we go! 💙🤍

Abrams Elementary invites all Pre-K through 5th-grade families and community stakeholders to join us for our PTA meeting on September 8th, 2026, from 5:00–6:00 p.m. in the K–5 building. NEWCOMB IS HERE AT ABRAMS! We are excited to partner with Bessemer Parks & Recreation to bring Newcomb to J.S. Abrams Elementary!

Newcomb is a co-ed sport for scholars in 2nd–5th grade, and we are ready to get our Panthers practicing, learning, and having fun.

Applications are due Tuesday, August 18th, but we would really love to have them turned in by Monday, August 17th so we can get our team organized and begin practicing as soon as possible.

$25 application fee is due Friday, August 21st.

Please return completed applications and payment to the J.S. Abrams Elementary front desk.
