Teaching opportunities available NOW!!
The CORE Learning Center, located in the historic Berwyn Depot District, is seeking highly motivated part-time teachers to instruct in the areas of Reading, Math, Writing, and/or Language Arts. The position involves working with students at various grade levels in either a 1:1 or 3:1 setting. Instruction focuses on both remediation and enrichment. All teaching materials are provided, and there is no lesson plan preparation involved. Summer teaching hours begin on Monday, June 1st. (Mondays & Wednesdays 2pm to 7pm, Tuesdays & Thursdays 11am to 5pm) Hours available are based on student demand.
Requirements:*
1. A valid Illinois teacher certificate (elementary and/or secondary level.)
2. Experience teaching and/or tutoring at the elementary/secondary level.
3. A positive, professional, and friendly attitude.
4. Flexible and reliable.
5. An interest in working with children of all ages that includes patience and enthusiasm.
*Exceptions may be made, based upon overall education level, skills, and experience. Higher level math knowledge is a plus.

The CORE Learning Center, located in the historic Berwyn Depot District, is seeking highly motivated part-time teachers to instruct in the areas of Reading, Math, Writing, and/or Language Arts. The position involves working with students at various grade levels in either a 1:1 or 3:1 setting. Instruction focuses on both remediation and enrichment. All teaching materials are provided, and there is no lesson plan preparation involved. Teaching hours take place on Monday through Thursday from 2pm to 7pm and Saturday from 10am to 2pm. Hours available are based on student demand.
