Big congratulations to St. Leonard 8th graders Giuliana and Jordan on being named Daniel Murphy Scholars and taking the next exciting step to Fenwick High School this fall! 🎓💙💛

The Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund provides high-achieving students with access to outstanding Catholic high school education, along with mentorship and support to help them succeed throughout high school and beyond. This incredible achievement reflects Giuliana and Jordan’s hard work, character, leadership, and bright futures ahead.

We are so proud to see these two Lions continue their journey and represent St. Leonard so well. Congratulations, Giuliana and Jordan—we can’t wait to see all you accomplish at Fenwick! 🦁💙

We hope you have enjoyed learning a little more about our 8th grade class of 2026 while reading their student spotlights. Our kids have such incredible goals in life like wanting to become doctors, chefs, priests, engineers, meteorologists, professional athletes, and even compete in the Olympics. Most importantly, they will all continue to be amazing leaders. We heard about their hopes and dreams for high school and even their favorite memories. May God Bless them and protect them on this next journey in their lives. Please join us for their graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 28th at 7pm sharp at St. Leonard Church. We would love to send them out with lots of love and support from our school community. GO LIONS 🦁

Another silent auction prize officially cashed in! 🍟🎉 Kindergartner George enjoyed his winning prize of a dress down day and McDonald’s Happy Meals for his entire class after his grandparents placed the highest bid at our silent auction!

A huge thank you to the Fuentes family, owners of McDonald’s on Ogden, for so generously donating this fun prize and helping create such a special day for our students. What a special birthday surprise for our 1st grader, Story! 🚒🎉 She got to arrive at school in unforgettable fashion with a ride in a fire truck, courtesy of Berwyn firefighter Mike Laureto! Berwyn, IL Fire Department
