Stop by our Family Support Center in Cicero this Saturday from 9:00 am-2:00 pm for a back to school event! Students can get a free haircut, grab some snacks, a backpack and some school supplies, and socialize in the community!

Are at least 18 Y/o
Have been a resident of North Berwyn for at least 1 year
Don’t hold certain types of prohibited State or Federal employment
Are a registered voter
Are not a child offender
Are without prohibited interest with the District
Are not a School Trustee

Supporting Multilingual Learners: July 7, 12:00–1:30 PM - Tomorrow (Tuesday).

There will be Spanish interpretation available in case a Spanish speaking family is interested.

🖍️💙 Chalk the Walk 2026 💛🖍️

It takes a village to help children grow, learn, and thrive.

Thank you to every family member who took the time to participate in Chalk the Walk and help create a special surprise for our students on their last day of school. While we may not have captured every message, we are deeply grateful for every person who helped fill our sidewalks with words of encouragement, celebration, hope, and love.
Each message was a reminder that our students are surrounded by a community that believes in them, cheers for them, and celebrates their growth.
This is what makes Prairie Oak special—not just the events we create, but the people who come together to make them meaningful.

Thank you for being part of the village that supports our children. 💙💛

Se necesita una comunidad para ayudar a que nuestros niños crezcan, aprendan y prosperen.

Gracias a cada familiar que dedicó tiempo para participar en Chalk the Walk y ayudar a crear una sorpresa especial para nuestros estudiantes en su último día de clases. Aunque es posible que no hayamos capturado cada mensaje, estamos profundamente agradecidos con cada persona que ayudó a llenar nuestras aceras de palabras de ánimo, celebración, esperanza y cariño.
Cada mensaje fue un recordatorio de que nuestros estudiantes están rodeados de una comunidad que cree en ellos, los anima y celebra su crecimiento.
Esto es lo que hace especial a Prairie Oak: no solo los eventos que organizamos, sino las personas que se unen para darles significado.

Gracias por ser parte de la comunidad que acompaña y apoya a nuestros niños. 💙💛
