Dear Teachers & Staff of St. Mary Parish,

We know many of you would like to be involved and express your concerns about the current happenings going on inside of the school system. We are here to help as we know many of you cannot speak up out of fear of retribution or backlash from fellow colleagues, administration and the school board.
YOU matter. We want YOU to be heard because you are the backbone of our schools. YOU are the ones struggling daily to follow your passion. If you feel as though you cannot speak out, let us be your voice!
What is Ruby Apple?
Ruby Apple is a pseudonym created for the teachers and school staff of St. Mary Parish who feel they cannot speak out on issues happening within our school system. It provides an opportunity for these issues to be aired without the risk of identity being revealed. We ask that all letters begin with, “Dear Ruby Apple” and then signed with a moniker/pseudonym of your choosing. This will show that each writer is unique without revealing the source’s identity. We have set up a PO Box for letters to be mailed to avoid digital tracking.
