Our staff spent the day at the center for In-service! This annual day is spent cleaning, organizing, preparing for children to move to their next classroom and required annual training. Our training today consisted of learning one of the key aspects of Becky Bailey’s Conscious Discipline, Composure! We know we are one of the first opportunities children have to learn to self regulate and learn skills of composure! Staff- what’s one of the composure strategies you learned today?

Last water Water Wednesday of the summer! Squirting, splashing & spraying… so much fun! Thanks to these amazing teachers for the memories made. I know it is alot of work when activities change our daily routines and add extra steps to our day like changing 9-14 kids into dry clothes but the kids faces definitely make it worth it!

This teacher came to me four years ago with no experience and today she’s is a knowledgeable, consistent and loving lead teacher! She is so protective of her kiddos and I’m so proud of her and the growth in her career!! She consistently helps get the day started off for all the children and co teachers!
