MACHINE MADNESS (Ages 8+) This camp is for those who have completed a Fiber Arts class or have prior hand-sewing or machine-sewing experience. We will continue to enhance sewing skills via the use of a sewing machine! We will be making creature pillows while learning pattern-reading, seam allowances, how to make buttonholes and attach zippers, buttons and other adornments. Enrollment is limited. Machines are provided.

Perhaps to the detriment of my business, Planet Picasso did not have the marketing funds to purchase a booth at Berthoud Days when the Berthoud Chamber offered them to Berthoud businesses. But I did decide to pull all of my camps out of Longmont this summer and offer more camps here to families in my own community instead in hopes of growing my business and potentially being able to offer pottery and fiber arts programs year-round.

I appreciate those of you who have signed up for camp this summer. And a big thank you to those of you who have had your children involved in the past and have helped spread the word about Planet Picasso.

In honor of Berthoud Day and every day I am lucky to call Berthoud my home, I am offering a referral reward of $25 to anyone signing up (or who has already signed up) for Planet Picasso Summer Camps. Please have the other person mention your name when registering. Thank you, everyone :)

I am SO excited to announce that Planet Picasso will be adding afternoon art camps in July and August! The studio will be getting drywalled and we are getting air conditioning (and heat for art classes and art clubs during the school year)!!
