Mark Smith is a senior at Berrien Springs High School taking Lakeshores’s CTE Auto course. As the CTE Director at Berrien Springs high school I (Brian Terry)personally nominated Mark Smith to be this week’s student of week.

A fellow student was recently having car problems. Mark found out and jumped at the opportunity to help the student, solving it within a matter of minutes with a little brainstorming and ingenuity. It are actions like these that we as educators really need to take a moment and celebrate how truly capable our students are. Mark’s selfless act of kindness was noticed and very much appreciated by his fellow classmate as well as his CTE Director. Thank you Mark for demonstrating your Shamrock Pride in a real world situation!
