Join the NASW-CA Social Work Occupational Council for a special virtual conversation with Taylor St. Onge, MSW, APSW, one of only five certified veterinary social workers in California.

Taylor, Veterinary Social Work Manager at Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital, will take us inside this unique and emerging specialty and share how social workers support veterinary professionals, pet owners, and families navigating:

Trauma and crisis
Compassion fatigue
End-of-life decision-making
The emotional complexities of the human-animal bond

Last week three new CASA volunteers were officially sworn in by Magistrate Stallworth.

These dedicated women have answered the call to stand up for children in our community who have experienced abuse or neglect. As Court Appointed Special Advocates, they will be a consistent voice for children navigating the court system and help ensure their best interests are heard.

Thank you, Jessica, Janna, and Brianna, for your willingness to make a difference in the life of a child. We are honored to welcome you to the CASA family and look forward to the impact you will make.
