SDA Theological Seminary at Andrews University We prepare effective leaders to proclaim the everlasting gospel and make disciples of all peoples in anticipation of Christ’s soon return.

The Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary was voted into existence in 1936 by action of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It operated in Washington, D.C. until it was transferred to Berrien Springs, Michigan, in 1960. Here it became a school of the newly established Andrews University. The Seminary is fully accredited by The Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada.

We gather with broken hearts, but we do not gather without hope. We give thanks to God for the life Luis lived, the people he loved, the students and colleagues he strengthened, and the faith in Christ that shaped his journey.

“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him… I will be with him in trouble… and show him my salvation.” — Psalm 91:14–16

Please continue to surround Yanet, Dafne, Ezer, and the entire Amador family with prayer, love, and presence as we remember a life beautifully given and faithfully lived.

Until that glorious resurrection morning....

Opportunity on APRIL 16!!
In recognition of World Voice Day, Speech-Language Pathology students will lead an interactive session designed to help seminarians understand, protect, and strengthen one of their most essential tools for ministry: their voice.
Whether preaching, teaching, praying, or offering pastoral care, your voice is not optional. It is central to your calling. Yet many neglect how to care for it. This session will provide practical, evidence-based guidance on vocal health, awareness, and sustainability so you can serve with strength and longevity. Location: Seminary

All are welcome to join our Seminary Chorus! Please scan the QR code to sign up!
