Another school year begins with a gathering of our Honors Council. Since its founding sixty years ago, the Honors Program has been overseen by a director and by an interdisciplinary faculty committee, the Honors Council. Significantly, our governing body includes two student representatives, our Academic Affairs Officers, who are vital to decision-making and thesis support for our community! Thanks to this great team of faculty and students who ensure that sixty years of quality continue into the future!

We are grateful to Edd’s mentor, Dr. Ackley Will, for overseeing the project, and to all the members of Honors Council who took time in the summer to support student research. Congratulations Edd!

Thank you to our amazing Honors Boosters who gave so generously during the 2025-2026 school year to support the J. N. Andrews Honors Program and its sixty-year tradition of cultural outings! Your gifts totaling $11,500 subsidized attendance at cultural venues for 150 students. We’d love to increase the outings subsidy for next year by setting a stretch goal of $15,000 in donated funds. Thanks for continuing to pray for our learning family and to support our precious students through your gifts.
