Happy September!
Berrien RESA is excited to get going on a whole new school year of playgroups! Every month of playgroups features a children's book and theme. In September, we'll have fun with that adventurous teddy bear Corduroy 🧸 in the book, A Pocket for Corduroy.

Mark your calendar!

Set your child up for success this school year with state-required immunizations and hearing, vision and dental screenings. Check these off your list all in one spot at our fun Back-to-School Bash. We’re hosting this outdoor star-spangled themed event in both Benton Harbor and Niles. Join us:

⏰ 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
🗓️ Tuesday, Aug. 25 at our Benton Harbor office, 2149 E. Napier Ave.
🗓️ Thursday, Aug. 27 at our Niles office, 1205 N. Front St.

We’ll have:

- State-required immunizations for all school-aged kids (some costs may apply)
- Hearing and vision screenings for incoming kindergarteners
- Dental screenings and giveaways from (tag) Van Buren Dental
- Free games, giveaways, cotton candy and popcorn

Join Berrien RESA for another Playgroup in the Park day on Wednesday, July 22 at Randall Park in Coloma! It looks like it will be a great day to go fishin'! 😉

As a bonus, Erica from the Coloma Library will be joining in on the fun! Wear your swimsuit and enjoy the new splash pad located next to the park.

Along with all the great library programs happening this summer, here's another great opportunity for little ones being offered at the Southwest Michigan Regional Airport:

The Pizza & Planes Podcast is inviting you and your little aviators to join us for Storytime on the Flight Line at Southwest Michigan Regional Airport.
This indoor storytime event with airport views is a fun, easygoing way for kids to watch airplanes taxi by, enjoy a story, ask curious questions, and take home a little treat.
Perfect for ages 3–6, but all curious little airplane lovers are welcome.
We’ll be meeting on select Tuesdays at 6:30 PM:
