We had a wonderful time at the Berrien Springs Oronoko Fire Department Pancake Breakfast! 🥞 💙 🚒

Our sixth-grade students volunteered on Sunday to help support this fundraising effort for our local fire department. We are proud of our students for giving their time to serve and support our community!

A huge thank-you to our wonderful music teachers, Mr. Cerna, Mrs. Lyons, and Mrs. Villarroel, for a beautiful concert! We are also so grateful to our amazing families and community for your continued support. ❤️🎵

The evening was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our students’ musical growth during the first quarter of school—from our youngest musicians learning to set up their instruments and explore rhythms to our junior and middle school students shining in strings, bells, and choir. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and grateful to our teachers for nurturing their musical talents!

We had a wonderful time at the Andrews University Homecoming Parade on Friday! 💙🤍

Thank you to all of the families who joined us and helped make the evening so special!

Our students did a wonderful job showing their RMES school spirit as they carried blocks representing our school-year theme: Building for His Kingdom: Brick by Brick.

Students cheered, sang their hearts out, and proudly represented RMES in their school T-shirts!

We are so grateful for the opportunity to come together as a school family and celebrate our school community. 💙🤍

For the first time ever, RMES won TWO awards for our participation in the Andrews University Homecoming Parade! Woo Hoo!!

What a great first School Spirit Day! 🤍💙

Today, our students showed their RMES pride by wearing their school spirit wardrobes!

To celebrate our first School Spirit Day, we had some extra fun during assembly! A student from each grade was invited to come to the front and answer questions about our school—from when RMES was founded to the middle name of Ruth Murdoch, the woman our school is named after.

But the best part? The students didn’t have to figure it out alone! They huddled together, shared what they knew, and worked as a team to come up with their answers.

And there was another exciting challenge! A crisp $2 bill was offered to anyone brave enough to volunteer to sing a solo of our school theme song! Our student volunteer did great!

What a fun way to celebrate who we are as a school community!

Building for His Kingdom: Brick by Brick🧱

Our school theme this year is “Building for His Kingdom: Brick by Brick.” Throughout the year, we are reminded that each of us has a part in building God’s kingdom. 💙🤍

As a symbol of this theme, our students are signing their names on individual bricks—representing their commitment to being part of God’s work and recognizing that every person has a place in building His kingdom.

Our key Scripture for the year is:
“You yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house…” — 1 Peter 2:5a, ESV

Our students will be reciting this verse throughout the school year as a reminder that we are all living stones, being built together for God’s purposes.

One brick. One student. One purpose.

Together, we are Building for His Kingdom: Brick by Brick.
