In the words of Dr. Savory, “You are the best!” 💛

We are so thankful for everyone who supported our two August work bees! Our community showed up—and our campus shows it!

As Dr. Savory, RMES Principal, shared, “Your presence and your contribution (whether for one hour or four hours) have made a HUGE difference.”

Even the rain couldn’t stop some of our amazing families from helping out this past Sunday!

Thank you for giving your time, energy, and support. TOGETHER, WE DID IT!

We’re excited for the new school year, and our school is looking ready! 💛

🎉 ONE WEEK LEFT UNTIL SCHOOL STARTS!

Yay!!! We’re officially just ONE WEEK away from welcoming our students back!

As we’ve been looking back at some of our favorite school memories, today we’re excited to give a special shoutout and THANK YOU to the amazing Andrews University faculty and staff who support our school and share their expertise with our students through our junior high mini courses!

Thank you, Mr. Legoh, for teaching our Robotics class and giving our students the opportunity to explore, create, problem-solve, and discover the exciting world of engineering!

We are so grateful for the ways Andrews University faculty and staff invest in our students and help make learning come alive! ❤️

ONE WEEK, RMES! We can’t wait to see you!

🌭 Come and get your Korn dog! 🌭

Our faculty and staff are excited to be at the Berrien County Youth Fair (BCYF) until 3:00 p.m. today, serving up delicious Korn dogs! 🎉

The BCYF, August 17–22, is one of the biggest community events in Berrien Springs, and we’re so grateful for this wonderful opportunity to serve and connect with Friends for Berrien Springs and our community. 💛

Stop by, say hello, and grab a Korn dog! We look forward to seeing you! 👋🌽

🌟 Meet one of our amazing RMES teachers! 🌟

Ms. Yoon became a teacher because she wanted to help kids and encourage them to believe that anything is possible with God! While teaching can be a lot of work, she says, “It’s so much fun when your students are having fun learning!” 🍎📚

Her goal for this year is simple: “We get through it!” And what is she most excited about? “Getting to see the kids again and all the adventures we’ll have together this year!” ✨

Favorite Classroom Tradition:
Christmas Around the World!

Advice for Students:
“We got this!” 💪

We can’t wait to see you soon, Second Graders! Here’s to a year filled with learning, laughter, adventures, and growing together!

🌱 Thirteen days to go! 🌱🎉📚

One of our favorite memories is watching our students get their hands dirty and their minds growing! 🌿🪴 Through gardening , students had the opportunity to explore nature, discover how things grow, and learn through hands-on experiences. Thank you, LifeBlooms (lifeblooms.org) for your support and guidance on several of our gardening projects!

From planting seeds to harvesting, every experience becomes an opportunity to learn, grow, and wonder! 🌻✨

🎒✨ The Countdown Is On! ✨🎒

As we count down to another amazing school year, we’re taking a moment to look back at some of the memories that make our school family so special!

📸 Throwback to our 8th Grade Class Trip to Mackinac Island! From exploring new places to sharing laughs, adventures, and unforgettable moments together, this trip was a beautiful reminder that some of the best parts of school happen outside the classroom. 💙

Only 14 days until we make MORE memories together! 🎉

Here’s to a new year filled with learning, friendship, adventure, and moments we’ll remember for years to come! 🏫✨

🌎✨ Get to Know Your Teacher! ✨🌎
Meet our English Language Learner (ELL) & Spanish teacher for K–2nd grade! 🇪🇸📚

Her inspiration for becoming a teacher comes from her mother, and today she loves teaching because she gets to help children "expand their little world through language." She believes that the early years are an especially wonderful time for children to begin learning a second language.

🎯 Goal for this school year: Increase student engagement through interactive, hands-on learning activities!

🎲 Favorite classroom tradition: The Spin the ESL Bottle game—a fun way to encourage students to speak, interact, and practice their English together!

💛 What excites her most: Spending time with her students and watching them learn and grow.

💡 Her advice for ELL students: Find an English-speaking church to attend each week. Immersion is the secret to learning a language!
We’re so thankful to have teachers who make learning a new language fun, meaningful, and exciting! 🌎💬❤️
