Lucy is practicing for her music recitals this week.

Join us at 4:00 EST or 5:30 EST today (Sunday, 7/26) to see two virtual recitals filled with "Childhood Favorites" songs! I've heard Kermit the Frog, the Itsy Bitsy Spider, the Fraggles, Thomas the Train, Sofia the First, some blind mice, and even a Rubber Duckie may make an appearance in the 4:00 recital and I know Bluey and Bingo will be at the 5:30 recital and there is a rumor Daniel Tiger might be there! I've been getting texts with pictures of students in costumes already this morning!

If you are local, the in-person recital will be on my porch Wednesday (7/29) at 6:00 EST!

If you are local to Berne, a lesson spot is opening next week on Mondays 4:15-4:45. I have a student who graduated high school and is not continuing lessons, so his spot is now available. This spot is for in-person lessons only.

Let me know if you are interested! Lessons can be for piano, voice, guitar, or wind band instruments (not strings or percussion).

Congratulations to all my students recently participating in solo & ensemble contest! We continue our 100% gold medal record for another year!!

Special congratulations to Brenna Laffoon and Avery Wilson for their gold medals on their vocal solos in group I. They will be continuing on to state competition in two weeks!!

Receiving gold medals for piano solos were: Charlotte Dendinger, Milam Wilson, Adelyn Bailey, Ireland Shuck, Christopher Thomson, Avery Wilson, Elsie Wilson, and Cecily Rigby.

Receiving gold medals for vocal solos were: Brenna Laffoon, Avery Wilson, Maci Coats, Elsie Wilson, Cecily Rigby, Danielle Adams, Christopher Thomson, and Adelyn Bailey.

So proud of all their hard work! Some very tough pieces were prepared and performed this year, with some even earning perfect scores! 😁😁

A huge thanks to Rachel Lehman for dog-sitting Lucy all morning and to Ireland Shuck for dog-sitting Lucy all afternoon so my furry little bundle of separation anxiety did not howl herself hoarse while I was gone all day Saturday for contest! ❤️

Beginning this week (February), I have a virtual lesson opening on Thursdays from 10:00-10:30pm EST! This is perfect for someone on the west coast who wants a lesson in the evening after dinner (or for a night owl located elsewhere). Let me know if you are interested!

Beginning in January, a few of my students need to take extended breaks from lessons due to a surgery and school activity schedules, so I will have openings for lessons.

Music lessons are the perfect Christmas gift for someone who has everything!

If anyone was considering music lessons for themself or their child, I have one open spot on Thursdays 3:40-4:10 EST virtual (or 3:30-4:00 in-person) that no one on my wait list could fill! Let me know if you're interested.

I will have an evening spot potentially opening in September. It will go to my wait list first, but if no one can take it, it will be open to any new student. Let me know if you want to get registered for the waiting list!
