Is someone you love dyslexic? A child, family member, or friend? Have you ever wondered what learning might feel like for them?

Join SOAR Academy and Tutoring for an interactive Dyslexia Simulation designed to give participants a glimpse into the challenges individuals with dyslexia may experience. Through a series of hands-on activities, participants will experience simulated difficulties with reading, writing, processing, and other academic tasks.

Our goal is to build greater understanding, empathy, and awareness for what it feels like to learn differently.

This experience is valuable for parents, educators, family members, and anyone who wants to better understand and support individuals with dyslexia.

We hope you’ll join us for an eye-opening experience!

Our Academy Scholars formed fundraising teams to create a donations tracker, coin collection jar, and posters. They love their school and are working hard to spread the word about SOAR for Dyslexia Awareness Month!

Week 1 of Dyslexia Awareness Month is coming to an end and our community is really showing up! Remember, SOAR’s goal is to reach $5,000 by the end of October! Funds will go directly to dyslexia curriculum and SOAR Academy outdoor equipment.

Welcome to Kid’s Cafe!

SOAR Academy scholars needed a little extra help with place value and decimals. What better way to practice math than becoming sales clerks and customers?! Our scholars made lots of yummy treats and used (fake) money to buy and taste desserts from their friends.

We love connecting learning to the real world.🌎 ✈️

In honor of Dyslexia Awareness Month, 50% of every candle purchased through our fundraiser with Sweet Wick Candle Company goes directly back to SOAR to support our students and programs.
