BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT | This Thursday!

We’re looking forward to welcoming our DCA parents to campus for Back to School Night on Thursday, August 27th at 5:30pm. This is your opportunity to connect with your child’s teachers, learn about classroom expectations, and hear important information about the year ahead.

Back to School Night is a parent-only event, so we kindly ask that children do not attend. Please refer to this week’s Conqueror Weekly newsletter for Thursday night’s full schedule.

Live Scan will also be available on campus for any parent volunteers who do not currently have one on file. They will be located in the gym foyer from 5:15–7:30 PM for your convenience.

Desert Christian Academy is looking for full-time Toddler and Pre-K Teachers to join our Preschool team!

We are seeking caring, dedicated educators who have a heart for young children and a desire to create a nurturing, Christ-centered learning environment.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) required
-Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development preferred

First Day Back | Welcome, Conquerors!

There’s nothing quite like the first day of school! Today, our campus was filled once again with smiling faces, excited reunions, new beginnings, and the energy of our Conqueror community.

As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, we are especially grateful to celebrate 50 years of God’s faithfulness at Desert Christian Academy. For five decades, He has faithfully guided DCA, and we are excited to see all He has in store for our students, families, faculty, and staff this year.

Here’s to a great year of learning, growing, building friendships, and following God’s calling in our lives.

It’s a good day to be a Conqueror!

Today was the first day of preschool, and our youngest Conquerors filled campus with lots of smiles, excitement, and new beginnings.

We’re looking forward to a wonderful year of learning, growing, making friends, and creating special memories together.

Our campus was full of excitement today as we welcomed our newest students, our kindergartners, and all of our 6th graders for Student Orientation!

It was a special day of meeting teachers, exploring classrooms, seeing familiar and new faces, and getting ready for the year ahead.

Whether stepping into kindergarten, joining DCA for the first time, or beginning a new chapter in middle school, we are excited for all that God has in store for these students.

1 DAY TO GO | See You Tomorrow, Conquerors!

Today, we had the joy of welcoming our new students to campus as they got a first look at their new school, met new faces, and prepared for the year ahead.

Tomorrow, we welcome all of our Conquerors back to campus for the start of a brand-new school year. We have been preparing, praying, and looking forward to this day, and we can’t wait to begin!

Elementary families: Parents are invited to join their elementary students in the gymnasium for our Welcome Assembly at 8:10 AM. We’ll start the year together with a prayer of dedication, introductions, and a few important announcements before they start their first day! (Extra parking will be available on the football field)
