Our program utilizes the traditional Montessori Method of teaching, which is a child centered education style. The Montessori style of education was developed by Italian physician and educator, Dr. Maria Montessori over 100 years ago. The Montessori educational approach is characterized by an emphasis on independence, freedom within limits, and respect for a child's natural psychological, physical

, and social development. The Montessori Method teaches the child sequentially through hands-on concrete materials, using all five senses. We present the children with a complete Montessori environment, fully equipped with Montessori materials. CELC is owned and operated by an American Montessori Society (AMS) Primary certified Montessori teacher.

Last week was all about Movement Masters! 🌟

Our students had so much fun staying active and exploring new ways to move. We enjoyed a fun & relaxing yoga session with Ms. Caroline, where the children practiced balance, stretching, and mindfulness. We also had an exciting creative movement class with Ms. Staci, using music and movement to encourage coordination, confidence, and self-expression.

It was a wonderful week full of movement, laughter, and learning! 💙🧘‍♀️

Farm Week has been such a fun one at CELC!! 🌾🐐☀️

This week, our children explored a farm sensory bin, enjoyed lots of farm-themed play, and had the sweetest visit from The Little Farm! They loved meeting the animals up close, petting them, and helping feed them. It was such a special hands-on experience and a wonderful way to bring our Farm Week theme to life.

Today we also had our first official session of Soccer Shots, and the children had so much fun moving, learning, and playing together. We’re looking forward to even more fun to finish out the week with mud painting and Splash Day on Friday! 💛🐷🎨💦

From our independence parade to a picnic-style lunch and a sweet red, white, and blue treat to end the day, it was such a fun way to celebrate together. We love giving our children opportunities to make memories, enjoy special traditions, and celebrate in ways that bring our school community together. ✨🇺🇸🎇🎆

☀️ What a SWEET first week of Summer Program! 🍦

We kicked things off with our Summer Celebration, created adorable ice cream art, cooled down with Kona Ice, had a blast during our ice cream relay races, and finished our first week of summer with a splash! Here’s to an amazing summer full of fun, friendship, and learning! 💙💛🍦🍧💦
