🎒📚 Post Wisely This Back-to-School Season

Before sharing those adorable first-day-of-school photos, take a moment to look at what’s in the picture and what you’re sharing.

A child’s name, teacher, grade, school, favorite things, sports, or other personal details may seem harmless on their own. But when combined, they can give someone with bad intentions more information than they should have.

Celebrate the milestone and share those special memories—but consider leaving the unique details off social media. When possible, share those moments privately with family and friends instead.

Think before you post. Protect what matters most. 💙

It's almost time for one of our favorite SDMS traditions! Every year, students wear their team t-shirts during our Pep Rally on September 25th, and it's time to place this year's orders.

What a fantastic evening at National Night Out! 💙🐾

We had so much fun connecting with current SDMS students, former students, and even some of our future Bulldogs! It was wonderful to spend time with families, share smiles, and strengthen the relationships that make our community so special.

A huge thank you to our incredible SDMS staff who gave their time, greeted visitors, and kept our face-painting table busy all evening. Your enthusiasm and dedication made the night even more memorable!

We’re also grateful for the many community partners who help make events like this possible. And a special thank you to the Berlin Police Department for organizing such an amazing event that brings our community together in such a positive way.

We’re proud to be part of this wonderful community and are already looking forward to next year! 💙🩵🤍🐾
