A beautiful morning exploring the Coastal Bays!

MCBP Executive Director Eva DiDonato and her family recently joined our business partners at Assateague Outfitters for a kayak tour through the marsh.

Along the way, they spotted ibises, cormorants, egrets, Assateague horses, and horseshoe crabs, pulled a seine to see what was living beneath the surface, and even learned how to dig for clams!

Experiences like these give residents and visitors a chance to see Maryland’s Coastal Bays up close and discover some of what makes this ecosystem so special.

We are proud to have Assateague Outfitters as an MCBP business partner and grateful for the many ways they help people experience and connect with the Coastal Bays.

Brand new paddles same well loved Wildlife Adventure Tours. We add new tour boats to our fleet last month and now we’ve unwrapped all fresh paddles. Come celebrate independence on the water with us on with a Wildlife Discovery Kayak Tour or a Canoe, Paddleboard, or Bike Rental! We’ve also got plenty of cold drinks and ice cream in our Nat’l Seashore Bayside Rental Stand, Beach Hut, Visitor Center Bike Rental, & The Five Tides Resturant & Store in the State Park to keep you cool and hydrated this July 4th.
