Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic School is a Pre-K to eighth grade school that offers a learning environment grounded in Catholic values and based on the Gospel teachings of Jesus Christ. Our program emphasizes the intellectual, spiritual, and physical development of every child. Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic School is an Arts Integration school emphasizing language arts, science, technology, eng

ineering, and math curricula with connections to the curricula for the arts. Our instructional programs include Religion, Fine Arts, Reading, Language Arts, Math, Physical Education, Science, Social Studies, as well as World Languages, Technology, and Library Media. Respecting the individual and celebrating our unity as Christian learners, our school is a mission-driven educational community that is both academically challenging and spiritually nourishing. Our rigorous instructional programs are integrated with state-of-the-art technology including Interactive White Boards in each classroom, a technology lab comprised of 32 desktop PCs and a one-to-one device to student ratio in grades three-eight. We offer an outstanding drama and music program, and seven interscholastic athletic programs are offered including golf, soccer, basketball, cheer squad, softball, and lacrosse. Welcome Back MBS!

Our first day of school was filled with excitement, laughter, and the promise of new adventures. It was nice to see our students reconnect with their friends and to hear about their summertime experiences. As we begin the school year with our theme, "Lord, Help Me to See," we pray that God opens our hearts to see His presence in our classrooms, our friendships, and our daily lives.

A special thank you to Senator Mary Beth Carozza for joining us in celebrating the start of a new year. We are grateful for her support of Catholic education and our MBS community.

Thank you to our students, families, faculty, and staff for making the day so special. And we’d like to give a special shout out to Finn, who greeted our students as they arrived in the morning. We are proud to be MBS Dolphins🐬, and we can’t wait to see what God has planned for our MBS Community!

🎓✨ Congratulations to Our 8th Grade Graduates! ✨🎓

Over the last two weeks, we have had the joy of celebrating our amazing 8th grade students through many special traditions- Their final school Mass, the Farewell to the 8th Grade Social, their class trip to Busch Gardens, their final walk through the halls, the Awards Ceremony, and Graduation. Each event has been a wonderful reminder of the friendships, faith, leadership, and accomplishments that have defined the Class of 2026.

To our 8th graders- As you move on to high school, know that you will always be a part of the MBS family. We are so proud of the young men and women you have become and excited to see all the wonderful things God has planned for your future. May you continue to walk in faith, lead with kindness, and trust in God’s path for you.

Alumni Tradition Continues
Congratulations Class of 2026!🎓

We loved welcoming back members of our Class of 2022 for one final Mass and walk through the halls before heading off to college!

Sixteen out of the twenty graduates from the class returned, representing Stephen Decatur, Indian River, Delmarva Christian, and homeschooling communities, proudly decorated with medals and cords recognizing their academic, athletic and extracurricular achievements.

We are so proud of all they’ve accomplished and grateful they came back to celebrate this special moment with us. May God continue to bless them as they continue on their journey!

Our Intermediate Pod (3rd-5th grades) teachers are wrapping up the year with their 26-day ABC countdown full of fun and educational activities. Each day is themed based on a different letter of the alphabet!

Wednesday was “J” Day, all about Jobs. Students were asked to research a career they may want to pursue in the future. They created posters, dressed for the role, and presented their chosen careers at a student-led job fair. It was wonderful to see their creativity, confidence, and excitement as they shared their learning with others. We had K-9 trainers, surgeons, nurses, and singers among many others. The students looked very professional and took their roles seriously.
In addition to our 4th grade students hosting the fair, we were fortunate to welcome a special guest presentation from one of our school families.

Thank you to the Mr. and Mrs. Aquino, parents of a PK4 student, for sharing their family business, Atlantic Portable X-Ray, with our students! The students were excited to see a portable x-ray machine up close and view actual x-rays.

Experiences like this help bring learning to life and inspire our students to dream big about their futures. Special thanks to Ms. Marshall for providing this fun and engaging project for our students.

Mrs. MacPherson is a veteran kindergarten teacher who pours her heart and soul into her classroom and into the MBS community each and every day. Alongside her assistant, Mrs. Melanie Woolridge, she helps shape the future of our youngest learners by creating a nurturing, engaging, and faith-filled environment where students can grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Mrs. MacPherson is an innovative, dedicated, and passionate educator who consistently gives her all to her students and our school community. Her commitment to excellence and her love for teaching are evident in the strong foundation she helps build for every child who enters her classroom. Congratulations to Sandra Pawlowska, MBS Class of 2019!

We are proud to recognize Sandra Pawlowska, an MBS graduate, for her outstanding accomplishments as a cheerleader throughout the years. After MBS, Sandra attended Stephen Decatur High School, where she continued to develop her skills and passion for performance. She then went on to the University of Maryland, where she cheered at the collegiate level while pursuing her degree.

Today, Sandra’s hard work has paid off as she reaches an exciting milestone, becoming a cheerleader for the NFL’s Washington Commanders. This incredible achievement is a testament to her dedication, perseverance, and commitment over the years.
