🙌 Today, we officially kicked off another exciting school year with our amazing BASD staff!

We started the morning together in the BHS commons with a delicious breakfast prepared by our Food Service staff, then headed to the auditorium for a welcome presentation.

Staff also had the chance to win beautiful gift baskets generously donated by Farmers & Merchants Bank, along with a pretty great prize: an additional paid vacation or personal day, with Dr. Durtschi stepping in to cover! 🎁

It was so good to have everyone back together, catching up, sharing some laughs, and getting excited for the year ahead.

Our staff is ready... now all we need are our students! 🥰📚 See you next week!

🥪 We’re excited to have Clarissa join the Berlin Area School District as a member of our Food Service team!

Clarissa grew up in Montello, where she graduated from high school, and moved to Berlin in 2015, where she continues to call home.

In her free time, Clarissa enjoys reading horror novels, spending time with her four cats and one dog, and playing video games. 🐱🐶🎮📚

We’re excited to have Clarissa on our team and look forward to getting to know her!

We’re excited to have Mr. Hacker join Berlin High School and BASD! Mr. Hacker is already a familiar face at BHS, where he also serves as our Varsity Girls Basketball Coach. 🏀

Mr. Hacker grew up in Northeast Wisconsin and is a graduate of UW-Oshkosh. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching sports. 🏈⚾

He is excited to continue building connections throughout the district and looks forward to getting to know our students, families, and community even better.

We’re excited to have you at BHS, Mr. Hacker! 😊
