Bear! There is something about a bear rolling into Youth Field Day. This was a big boy weighing in at approximately 385 pounds. Take a look at the size of his paws! What a great day! Learning to shoot, fly fish, taxidermy, atv/dirt bike safety, building birdhouses, and archery all in one packed full day of hands on and smiles. Thank you so much to all of you for bringing your kids out to our beautiful mountain for the day. Our volunteers are the absolute best! They make this day a success. This beautiful print was donated by the PA Game Commission and framed by the one and only Bunk Harding. This print is a $1 a ticket and goes off with the 7pm Daily Number on Saturday July 25th. Start your day off with the most important meal
of the day and you will do great things! These kids fished their little hearts out and had so much fun. Their smiles say it all. Thank you to everyone for coming out to the Derby. Thank you Don Rubright and family for the delicious breakfast.

On May 5, 2026 the Citizens to Save the Allegheny Mountain committee is traveling to Harrisburg. We will be doing a media event in the Pennsylvania Capitol Building. It will be located in the East Wing Rotunda from 10:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. Access to this area will be the Entrance off of Commonwealth Avenue. Yes, you have to go through metal detectors, so no Pocket Knives etc. We a are inviting MFSC Members to join us that day in Harrisburg. Our Goal is to meet with not only the politicians but also to touch base with all the media groups that are there daily. We are trying to touch folks across Pennsylvania for support and this kind of event will be a good opportunity. We need to show that putting a cut through the mountain is Devastating. Our theme is “SAVE THE MOUNTAIN BUILD A TUNNEL”. If you have any questions, message Tim Resh – [email protected]
