UC Berkeley had two teams receiving awards tonight for top five bids to the NDT! Cal GW was ranked 5th and Cal MS was ranked 3rd!

Just wanted to update all the supporters of Cal debate that the team is working hard in preparation for Nationals! Expect major updates in the coming days!

Congrats to Cal MS and Cal GW on receiving first round at large bids to the NDT! This makes Michael Wimsatt a 3 time first round qualifier. This also makes the team of John Spurlock and Srinidhi Muppalla 4 time first round qualifiers. This is Miles Gray first at large bid! Which is amazing for a freshman! Whole team is ecstatic!

Great job in prelims for the Cal teams at Northwestern, all three teams with a winning record! Muppalla/Spurlock 8-0 top seed, Gray/Wimsatt 6-2 13th seed, and freshmen Obuchi/Park 5-3 and missing on points

Congratulations to the Cal team of John Spurlock and Srinidhi Muppalla who made it to the finals of the USC tournament and to Miles Gray and Michael Wimsatt who were in the quarterfinals! Great job!

Great job at the Kentucky tournament for Cal MS - John Spurlock and Srinidhi Muppalla! They were the 2nd and 4th speakers and lost in the finals on a 2-1 decision to Georgetown. One ballot away from winning the first two tournaments is pretty incredible!

Cal MS advances over Cal GW in the semis. Incredible run of tournaments for Michael Wimsatt and Miles Gray!!! Winners of the RR, semis of the tournament, Wimsatt top speaker at both and Miles 14th speaker at the tournament and top freshman speaker. Great job!!!
