We’re winding down from our group show, please join us for our closing reception May 31st 1-5pm! We will be having an artist talk where you can hear about the process from individuals who were apart of the show. We hope to see you there!

This is an open mic night available to any and all, whether they have something they'd like to share or if they're just interested in being a spectator.

Join artist Xinchen Li for an interactive workshop exploring drawing with a 3D pen. Watch a live demonstration, learn about the artist’s process, try the pen yourself, and enjoy an informal creative experience. Participants also have the chance to receive a small 3D pen portrait!

Sunday, May 10th, join co-op members and for a South Berkeley Neighborhood Photowalk!

Stroll through South Berkeley and see what the neighborhood has to offer! From quirky little houses to beautiful vintage cars, bring a camera or just your phone and make some friends taking photos! Meet at 2727 California St and be prepared to walk for 1.5 hours, breaks and bathrooms are along the route!

Sundays, May 10th & May 24th, 2727 California St members will be hosting an open circle of conversation for artists and art-lovers to discuss circumstances affecting contemporary art-making.

In this short series, the circle will discuss the challenges, influences, and particularities of making and consuming art in urban contexts. The conversation will be split between small group prompt responses, full circle synthesis, and time at the end for mixing and mingling.

All are welcome to bring a drink or snack to share. All are also invited to bring personal (non-disruptive) art/craft activities to work on during the circle.
