Our theme embodies how we've looked back on the foundation of which Berkeley Scientific Journal was created and look forward to what is to come. Our staff has presented the origins of scientific findings and their place in our modern world. Theorems are often thought to be either true or false. However, incomplete theorems in mathematics suggest that true statements can be both provable and unprovable within a set of axioms.

BSJ research submissions are now open! The Berkeley Scientific Journal publishes research papers produced by UC Berkeley undergraduates or recent BA/BS recipients (within one year of graduation) from UC Berkeley. We will also consider work produced by non-UC Berkeley undergraduates who have a strong standing in a UC Berkeley lab and have a UC Berkeley PI to sign off on their work. Our deadline is March 6th!
