My personal philosophy revolves around the idea that everyone has something to offer and you can learn from everyone you meet. Being a part of SSWANA has allowed me to expand my network and get to know individuals who share different philosophies, life experiences and varied views. Despite the differences, I was able to learn from those interactions and see the similarities--similar cultures, values, and societal pressures just to name a few.
These shared struggles are what makes SSWANA so important. Our goal is establish resources that directly address these struggles.
That being said, I would highly encourage everyone who is interested in SSWANA to learn more and apply if it is something that resonates with you. Also, if you have any questions, comments and or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out. Or if you have general feedback that is always appreciated as well.
Looking forward to hearing from you, best of luck with midterm seasons.
In Solidarity,
Iqra Shaikh
