The newly built Undergraduate Academic Building creates a hub for undergraduate instruction in the center of the UC Berkeley's campus. Replacing a parking lot, the facility serves as a home for Letters & Science Advising and houses more than 10% of the general assignment classrooms on campus, improving the undergraduate learning experience and fostering continued academic excellence.

The building will open fully this fall!

Happy National Mascot Day to our very own Oski, UC Berkeley’s beloved bear. Since 1941, he’s made thousands smile through countless campus shenanigans, iconic selfies and epic dance moves. Oski pursues a double major in undeclared and decided to this day. 🐻

In a world where AI can generate research papers, solve equations or create art, educators worry about how college students may be using it, misusing it or missing out on it. Yet there have been few studies of college students and their AI use.

The largest study of AI use by undergrads is in, revealing disparities in access — and in cheating - Berkeley News Researchers found that how student use, and misuse, AI varies by subject and by socioeconomics.
