Video Description: A UC Berkeley admissions counselor shares some application tips for students as she conducts fall outreach to various high schools. The main tips include a reminder that students don't need to worry about declaring a second major in their application (or even a primary one - they can be undeclared) and that students should submit their application in a timely manner ahead of the November 30 deadline.

🐻✨Cal Bears in the Desert | Cal Alumni of Coachella Valley at the Coachella Valley College & Career Fair!

Our alumni chapter joined the Office of Undergraduate Admissions’ Regional Representative Ebelio Mondragon at this year’s Annual Regional Coachella Valley College & Career Fair. Alumni volunteers Rosemary Bautista ‘06, Angel Garcia ‘21, Kiara Bragg ‘24, and Maximiliano Ochoa ‘14 were proud to represent UC Berkeley, sharing insights on majors, campus life, and the Golden Bear experience with local students and families.

A big thank you to OneFuture Coachella Valley, the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, and our local school districts for making this inspiring event possible each year. 🌟

En esta sesión, aprenderá cómo apoyar a su estudiante durante el proceso de solicitud, fomentar su independencia y ayudarle a mantenerse motivado y organizado. Además, escuchará el testimonio de un estudiante universitario actual y de un padre o madre de familia, quienes compartirán sus experiencias, los retos que enfrentaron y los consejos que les ayudaron a recorrer el camino hacia la universidad.
