In a Traditional Chinese Medicine context, skin concerns such as acne and inflammation may be associated with excess Heat and toxin accumulation. This simple herbal mask combines cooling, cleansing, and circulation-supporting ingredients traditionally used to promote healthy skin.

Featured ingredients include:

Sang Ye (Mulberry Leaf): Traditionally used to clear Heat and support skin health.

Jiang Huang (Turmeric): Used to invigorate Blood and support an even complexion.

Chuan Xin Lian: Used to clear Heat and resolve toxicity.

Jasmine Rice: Helps create a gentle base while absorbing excess oil.

Thai Makrut Leaves: Aromatic leaves traditionally used to support circulation and skin vitality.

Happy Birthday to our very own Gem! 🎂✨

We’re so grateful to have Gem as part of our Berkeley front desk team, and even more excited to celebrate a big milestone this year.
An AIMC alum and newly licensed acupuncturist, Gem embodies the dedication, skill, and compassion we strive to cultivate in every graduate.

Starting in April, Gem will be seeing her own clients on Saturdays at the Berkeley clinic through the AIMC Launchpad program which supports practitioners as they grow their professional practice with access to our herbal pharmacy and treatment spaces.

From welcoming our community at the front desk to sharing her creativity and warmth, Gem brings so much heart to AIMC.
