Teachers and admin gathered in the Art studio for an artistic, grounding warmup during workweek. Everyone was instructed to take a line for a walk, using one long piece of paper and a marker. Starting on the left, we made a continuous line drawing that represented one whole day. Some chose to visually represent their typical workday, their entire teaching journey, and even their heartbeat rhythm on a busy day! We love to see such a variety of interpretations. Today is our last day of school, and it’s particularly bittersweet here at the ECC. In the midst of all of the big feelings, let’s take a moment to celebrate the growth of our youngest friends in caterpillar class. These little caterpillars emerged from their classroom with something new- wings! Now they are butterflies, ready to go into the great big world. We will cherish the children and teachers that have come through our beautiful school in our hearts forever and ever. Fly free, butterflies! 🦋 ❤️
