Today we had our annual Mark Bingham 5k run! Thank you to everyone who showed up to joins us in remembrance of Brother Bingham who is a hero.

On Sunday April 30th we are happy to announce our annual 5k run in honor of Mark Bingham!
We celebrate Mark for his heroic actions on 9/11, during Flight 93. Mark was headed to San Francisco for a wedding when he courageously infiltrated the pilot deck where the terrorists were controlling the plane from and stopped it from crashing into its suspected target, the White House. Mark was an openly gay rugby player on the Cal Rugby team as well as a former Chi Psi president. He is among the most highly respected men in our history. All of the money raised during the 5k will be donated to the You Can Play Project which assists in LGBTQ sports opportunities.

Last but not least, our president is David Lim! Brother Lim is a second year studying Economics and Data Science. He was born in Seoul, Korea but raised in Bangkok, Thailand. A fun fact about Brother Lim is that he served in the South Korean Army for 18 months. Thank you Brother Lim for all that you do for Lodge!
