It is April and UpSwing will be sharing a free performance at our home studio in Berkeley. We love celebrating Natl Dance Week by opening the doors and showing what we have been working on. This show is multi-generational and so much fun. The Company will premiere our newest work "Moonlit Memories" on mini hoop and open sling, performed by KC Hyland and Helium Valentine.

Reserved seating is full but we are accepting walk-ins. Show is 1 hour.

Blindfolded Contact Dance is a slow and gentle experience for both beginners and experienced dancers alike. The constraint of the blindfold invites dancer to explore other senses to find connection, expression, pleasure, and safety.

We are pleased to share a Beginner Series on the four Fridays in March, with a 6pm setup and 7:30pm pack up. It's open to adults age eighteen and up, and younger teens on a case by case basis.

Students will learn basic movements, dojo customs, and vocabulary. It's designed to work for all levels of experience, so if you want to begin training, this is a wonderful time.
