Our fifth graders start the year by writing their own class norms, deciding together what it takes to feel respected, safe, and included. It's one more way Madeleine students live our motto: Let's be good to one another and pass it on.

Our littlest Panthers have a new place to play, right as we welcome our very first TK class. We've added a covered outdoor area to our early childhood education center, giving our youngest students even more flexible space alongside our Kindergarten and TK classrooms and our kinder play area. One wonderful world to learn and play, rain or shine.

Our 7th grade families gathered for a Welcome Back BBQ and Movie Night to kick off the school year together. Evenings like this are where our community really comes to life: familiar faces reconnecting, new families feeling right at home, and everyone celebrating the start of another year. We love creating space for our families to build friendships that reach beyond the classroom. Here's to a year full of community and Panther pride!

Third grade is a magical year of discovery and big leaps in learning, and our newest class is off to a wonderful start. Before diving in, students took on a classmate scavenger hunt to get to know one another a little better. It's a warm way for everyone, new friends and returning ones alike, to connect before their journey on planet 3rd grade begins. Welcome to a brand new year, Panthers!

The first day of school is here! We started it the way we start every day, gathered together in the Dominican Garden for morning prayer. Our student council led this morning's assembly, guiding everyone in proclaiming our school motto: "Let's be good to one another and pass it on!" Thank you to all the new and returning families who filled the garden this morning. Here's to a wonderful year ahead!

Summer's final days gave us a rainbow arcing right over our doors, a pretty perfect send-off into what's ahead. Tomorrow our halls fill again with Panthers ready for a fresh year of learning, friendship, and discovery. We're so happy to welcome every family, returning and new, back to the Madeleine. Here's to another wonderful year together.

🌞 That's a wrap on another incredible year, Panthers! From the first day jitters last August to the final bell this week, this community showed up with heart, hustle, and so much joy. Wishing our students, families, teachers and staff a summer full of rest, adventure, and all the good things. See you in August! 🐾☀️

Yesterday was our Parachute Promotion Ceremony, an annual tradition our students and families always look forward to! The Class of 2026 lifted and waved a giant parachute while each grade passed underneath, marking the move from one grade to the next. Black Shadow showed up to help students make the leap to their new classrooms, waving goodbye to this year's teachers before running to meet next year's. It's a meaningful way to mark this transition, celebrate how much our students have grown, and close out another wonderful year. Here's to all that's ahead! ✨

Every spring, 3rd grade trades the classroom for the frontier, and Prairie Day 2026 delivered. After spending weeks reading Little House on the Prairie, students stepped fully into the world of the Ingalls family: costumes, games, crafts, and the undisputed highlight: hand-cranked ice cream made the old-fashioned way. It's the kind of day that makes a book come alive.
