We are open on Labor Day, and the last Sunday in September is a black belt promotion (for Martha). It's going to be a fun month.

We are pleased to share a meal at Picante this Sunday, August 30 (many of us come from adult class, so we get there around 2:40pm). It's open to all ages, so kids, partners, and friends are all welcome.

We are delighted to share that new adult students train free in October. Students learn calm, grounding, and creative approaches to conflict resolution. It's a supportive and friendly group.

Classes meet four times a week. Please show up 30 minutes before the start time with long comfortable pants and a water bottle. And feel free to bring a friend!

We are wrapping up the Beginner Series next Friday, and will do these two strikes (and response options). It's a great chance to expand your skills, so come on out.

Our youth class for ages 7-12 is open all year round. And every two months, we open it up for parents to practice with us (family day).

We are saying goodbye to Encian, as he is moving to pursue a graduate degree. If you are free on Sunday, August 23 at 4pm, there is a party in Berkeley. More information on the email list.

The beginner series continues on Friday evenings (please show up at 6pm). We are learning one strike, along with response options, each session.

That means it's simple to join any time.

We are scrubbing the mats on Sunday, August 16.

It's the same timing as usual, with a 12:30pm arrival. The project takes about ten minutes, so class happens afterwards as always.

We are in progress with two Beginner Series this month. If you are able, we especially recommend Mondays and Fridays in August. It's a chance to learn the fundamentals of jo work and reponses to strikes.
