Danse Lumière

Rehearsals are underway for The James Joyce Ballet — Kathryn Roszak’s acclaimed work inspired by The Dead, Ulysses, and Finnegans Wake.

Presented nationally and internationally, the work continues to resonate with audiences through its fusion of dance, literature, and music.

What an unforgettable night! ✨
This past Monday, we finally brought our pop-up ballet to the New York City Center. A huge thank you to everyone who attended and to those who supported us from afar—your energy made the evening truly special.
We were deeply honored to have join us to give an opening speech, sharing powerful words on the importance of supporting the arts community here in New York City.

A glimpse into the studio as .lujan.art , , and .ballet rehearse a brand-new work premiering next Monday. Witnessing these world-class artists bring this choreography to life has been an incredible journey.
We are also honored to announce that Jack Schlossberg, campaigning for Congress in NY’s 12th District, will join us to offer introductory remarks on the vital importance of the arts in our community.

Introducing Jonatan Lujan ✦ .lujan.art
A native of Mendoza, Argentina, Jonatan Lujan is a world-class artist with an extraordinary global career.
From the Zurich Ballet and Victor Ullate Ballet to the Slovak National Theater, Jonatan has performed as a soloist on the world’s most prestigious stages. Currently based in New York City, he performs with the Metropolitan Opera Ballet and has partnered with the iconic Misty Copeland. We are honored to have Jonatan join Danse Lumière before he headlines our upcoming European tour.
