PsychologiCal Committee The PsychologiCal Committee is devoted to creating a psychology community within UC Berkeley.

The PsychologiCal Committee is a new department-sponsored committee with a simple goal: to build a community of Psychology students, faculty, alumni, and friends here at UC Berkeley and beyond. We currently run a Speaker Series and are hosting a DeCal for new majors.

In need of a few more units or looking for a way to get familiar with the Psych department?

The Personal Development in Psychology DECal is 2 unit class designed for students who are new to the psychology department here at Berkeley. Whether you are a newly declared psych major, a junior transfer, or an intended psych major, the course is aimed at giving you the resources, information, and community in order to be successful during your time as a psych student at Cal.

If interested contact the facilitator, Ella Simmons at [email protected] or come to the first meeting on Thursday January 25th at 2pm in 51 Evans! We hope to see you there!

Come out to the Tolman Breezeway today from 2:30-4:00pm for the Psychology Welcome Event. There will be free food, booths for different student groups and DeCals, and a lottery where you can win textbooks and other books written by professors! Can't wait to see you there!

Come for some food and fun on Wednesday September 6th from 2:30-4pm in the Breezeway at Tolman Hall. Psych Student Services and the PsychologiCal Committee have partnered to host a welcome Event for the Psychology Department. Student groups and DeCals will have booths where students can learn more about how to get involved on campus. Faculty will be there to answer questions and get to know the students. There will also be a raffle where you can win textbooks, signed books written by the professors, and more! If you are looking for a couple more units for the Fall semester and are new to Berkeley Psychology, then the Personal Development in Psychology DeCal may be for you! This 2 UNIT DECAL focuses introducing new or intended psychology majors to the department, its recourses, and opportunities available.
