Hey Community!

Here’s a recap of our 1st volunteer training for Pathways Coaching! This training was centered around our core purpose and the “why” behind mentorship; allowing mentors to tap into their purpose beyond the surface level of why mentoring matters. We appreciate everyone who attended and supported our intention to fully integrate our mission to our mentees.

HOMECOMING, but make it Stiles 🗣️

Back when we were students - some time ago 😅
the challenges of our particular experiences as
re-entry, student parents, transfer students, commuters, justice impacted, systemically underrepresented, and so on; made school spirit feel a little different. So we’ve decided to host a tailgate, where Stiles community of the present & Stiles Alumni can meet to create professional and personal connections.

In reclamation of “salons” and open dialogue, Stiles Hall presents its first “Alive & Yapping” event.

Alive & Yapping aims to provide space for an open exchange of ideas and discussions around culture, art, philosophies, and whatever guests hope to opine about over tea. No ragebait allowed!

Our inaugural event takes place Monday, October 5th from 5pm to 6pm. Please RSVP to reserve your spot, propose a discussion topic, and sign off on our participation agreement. This event is open to all UC Berkeley students, so please tell a friend! ⭐️

When you get to be as old as we are 😅 you can’t help but reminisce… growing into an elder is sacred responsibility. One that we carry with hope because when we look around at the tables we’ve built together, our community is walking testimony to the Stiles Hall mission 🐻
