CASA: Chicanx/Latinx Architecture Student Association We are the Chicanx/Latinx Architecture Student Association (CASA).

We are a familia on campus dedicated to the recruitment, rentention, and support of students of color in the College of Environmental Design at UC Berkeley. The Chicanx/Latinx Architecture Student Association (CASA), aims to serve, support, and care for our students in the Design Field. We have an open door policy to cater a safe space for all students: Undocumented Students, First- Generation/Low-Income Students, Allies, LGBTQ+ Students. In addition to professional and academic support, our familia aims to generate awareness and learn from past and current issues in design. Ultimately, we strive to create a space where our students can feel comfortable and safe, all while embracing our cultural backgrounds and designing for a better future.
