To our campus community members, effective Sunday, June 21st (6:00pm-3:00am) we will resume our BearWALK services. We are adhering to local health and safety directives including social distancing and wearing face coverings.

Effective today, March 16, due to campus closure, there will be no Night Safety nor Door-to-Door service, until Monday, April 6. This date is subject to change; updates will be posted as they're received from the university.

The Wickson Bridge (north of Moffitt Library) construction closure will be occurring February 13 thru March 31, 2019. Below is additional information regarding traffic detours and campus shuttle service during the closure.
Night Safety Shuttles:
Passengers are directed to board Night Safety Shuttles at either the Evans Hall stop, or the University Hall stop.
South Side Line - The South Side Line will be rerouted, from Evans Hall, to Downtown Berkeley BART, via Hearst Avenue, making Westbound courtesy stops, at Hearst Avenue and LeRoy Avenue, Hearst Avenue and Euclid Avenue, Hearst Avenue, just past Arch Street, and University Hall, to Addison Street; turn right onto Addison Street, passenger pickup/drop-off Addison St. and Shattuck Ave., left turn onto Shattuck Avenue, Southbound, and resume South Side route as published.
North Side Line - The North Side Line will be rerouted, from Evans Hall, to the East Gate stop, continue its standard route to Downtown Berkeley BART. From Downtown Berkeley BART resume North Side route back to Evans Hall.
Due to the bridge closure and rerouting, published schedule times may vary.

Winter Curtailment Update:
BearWALK operates every day of the year.
Tonight's Night Safety SHUTTLE Service, including Door-to-Door Shuttles, is the last Night Safety Service of calendar year 2018. Night Safety Shuttle Service will resume, on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.

We are sharing a message from Parking & Transportation:
Effective June 1, 2018, until further notice, on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday nights, the South Side shuttle will run every half-hour, rather than ever quarter hour.
