Kris brings decades of experience in international education, leadership development, and organizational growth. A Peace Corps alum and former longtime CEO of CIS Abroad and leader at CEA CAPA Education Abroad, she has spent her career building transformative global learning experiences and helping organizations grow their impact.

Kris joins Global Glimpse at an exciting moment as we envision the future of travel and build the next generation of global leaders!

We are so excited to introduce and welcome Numra Sultana, our 2026 Alumni Intern to the Global Glimpse team!

Numra first began her relationship with Global Glimpse in 2022 when she traveled to Constanza, Dominican Republic as a Glimpser. After years of Zoom school and restricted pandemic travel, she had no idea how impactful that experience would become for her! Numra is now a rising senior at Syracuse University studying Environmental Sustainability & Policy with a double major in English and Textual Studies.

On campus, she serves as the Head Writing Editor for Syracuse’s culture, arts, and politics magazine, and works as a photographer and content creator for various student organizations. Since her Global Glimpse experience, she has continued pursuing opportunities for global learning and recently returned from studying abroad for a semester in Copenhagen!

This summer, Numra will be supporting the Global Glimpse team with many projects, including managing student blog posts, reviewing ticket information, researching school calendars, and much more. With a strong orientation to people, fantastic writing skills, and a keen attention to detail, Numra is poised to amplify Global Glimpse's impact this summer. 🙌

Our first 2026 delegation has taken off and the Global Glimpse summer travel season is officially underway! 🌍✈️

• This delegation brings together 23 students from 13 different public high schools across the San Francisco Bay Area.
• The group departed from SFO on June 4th and they will spend 11 days immersed in Jarabacoa in the central mountains of the Dominican Republic.
• 9 students on this delegation are traveling internationally for the first time!

Who better to help you prepare for a journey than someone who's already taken it?!

During their final pre-trip meeting, Global Glimpse alumni at Independence High School helped prepare this year's Glimpsers for their travel experience by sharing the big moments that stood out from their own travels last summer. They also shared insider tips, like what they wished they'd packed more or less of!

Alumni mentorship helps students feel prepared for the intellectual and emotional transformation they experience with Global Glimpse and builds leadership skills every step of the way - before, during, and after the trip.

Our first delegation of students arrive in the country in just a few days and we can't wait for them to experience the power of immersive travel.
