For the month of February, SAO has been directing some of our efforts towards our crowdfunding campaign in order to raise some well-needed funds for our office. With only 10 days left of the campaign, we really need your help!

As some of you may know, the Student Advocate's Office is a casework service designed by students for students who have any issues with the university. The shape of our office has changed over time, but this main mission has remained the same, along with the team of passionate caseworkers we consistently recruit.

Here are some office highlights and why donations are important to us 🔥🔥🔥

In 2020 we had a total of 681 cases - here are how many students each division helped:
Academic: 277 Fin aid: 250 Conduct: 250 Grievance: 102

COVID-19 exacerbated student needs, so the demand for our services is higher than ever. Everything you donate will go towards supporting our caseworkers, and we are working towards obtaining stipends for all caseworkers to recruit more low-income students ❤️❤️

Our office is rapidly growing, and Big Give donations help us do what we do best: protect student rights!

The Graduate Assembly SOS Fund is now accepting applications! If you are a graduate or professional student in need of financial support regarding housing, basic needs, and/or COVID-19 related insecurities, please apply! The fund will remain open until April 30th or until funds run out. Reach out to us if you have questions!
