Our Berkeley Elementary family is mourning the loss of life at Annunciation Catholic School - Minneapolis, MN. Our hearts are with the staff and families affected by this tragedy.

The First Day of School is Monday, Aug. 18! 🍎A few reminders to be ready for the first day.

✅ All students MUST be registered to start school. Once your registration is approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email from [email protected]. If you haven’t received this email, your student is not yet registered. Please contact your child’s school if you have questions about your child’s registration. *Please note that after approval, it may take up to 48 hours for bus transportation details to appear in your Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

✅ Families-in-transition must first meet with a social worker before beginning the registration process. This meeting is the first step, but registration is not complete until you log in to Infinite Campus, submit your registration, and receive an approval email from [email protected].
If you've already met with a social worker or a member of the Students-in-Transition team, you're on the right track, but you MUST complete the online registration in Infinite Campus to finish the process.

✅ All students in grades Pre-K -12 will carry clear bookbags for the 2025-26 school year.

✅ FFSD is Device Free- A new Missouri law (Senate Bill 68) now requires a complete ban on the use of cell phones and other personal electronic devices during the school day. In line with Missouri state law, students must keep them off and put away during the school day, including during class, lunch, recess, and passing time. Learn more here: https://bit.ly/3HpNnwU

✅ School uniforms are required for all K-12 students.

Our Family Fitness Night was a huge hit! Yoga-Zumba-African Dance-Meditation-Phonics Man, Basketball competition all at BKE!!!

We are very grateful to our Clayco community partners for donating a large number of clear backpacks and long sleeve uniform shirts to support our BK scholars.

What a wonderful day for a back to school fair with so many students and families showing up to say hello! Let’s go Berkeley! Meet the Teacher night will take place on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.

We had a blast at the FFSD all district convocation this morning. We hired about 14 new staff members at Berkeley Elementary. I’m so excited to welcome our students and families back to a new school year.
