Taste & Tribute Taste & Tribute, an annual fine dining benefit gala with the celebarted SF Bay Area Chefs to benefit Tibetan Aid Project. www.tasteandtribute.com

Tibetans inspire people around the world as models of wise and compassionate action in the face of adversity and hardship. The Tibetan Aid Project, founded by Tibetan lama Tarthang Tulku, supports Tibetan communities in restoring, preserving, strengthening and perpetuating the wisdom of Tibetan traditions for the benefit of all humanity. To date, the Tibetan Aid Project has helped to fund nearly three million traditional texts and over four million art prints to be distributed at the World Peace Ceremony in India. One of the largest free distributions of books in history, communities throughout the Himalayan region have seen literacy levels rise, women gain access to advanced degrees, and Tibetan culture, once threatened with extinction, persevere.

We are happy to share with you an exciting, new event dedicated to Tibetan Aid Project's 50th Anniversary -- Sail & Tribute!  This 50th Anniversary Fund Raising Event on September 15th will take place on the Historic Maiden Sail of the 132-ft Matthew Turner, a traditional wooden tall ship.
